I don’t like running Xcode in full screen mode because of the way the simulator window pops up and steals focus, switching spaces in the process. It’s too bad, because I really do like trying to squeeze as much screen real estate out while developing.
MiniXcode by Ole Zorn to the rescue. It’s an Xcode plugin that gives you an option in the “View” menu to hide the large toolbar at the top of the window. It also gives you two simple key commands to pick the scheme and targeted device.
I hope we’re seeing the dawn of the Xcode 4 plugin age.
