Automating iOS With Pythonista

I’ve linked to Pythonista before as a nifty REPL to play with Python on your iPad, but Federico Viticci demonstrates some crazy innovative ways to use Pythonista as a scripting hub to automate iOS. Using the clipboard and app launching URLs he’s dreamed up quite a workflow for automatic Markdown preview and conversion, image manipulation, Dropbox integration…it’s staggering. The piece is quite long, and there’s something in there for everyone who wants to have a more customized workflow for text and data processing on iOS.
