Another iOS Developer's Perspective of Android

Great writeup by Nick Farina of Meridian’s experience porting an app from iOS to Android. TL;DR, Android as a dev platform isn’t that bad and there’s a lot of similarities you can draw on between the two platforms when you conduct a port. It’s a refreshingly candid tale.

There will always be new platforms and new paradigms to learn. The best we can do is to understand where each one came from, and to embrace the positives and overcome the negatives as quickly as possible so we can ship some awesome features before everything changes again.

Now, if only making money off the platform wasn’t so convoluted.
