Why Is Objective-C Like That?

Graham Lee’s homage to Objective-C’s 30th birthday summarizes the history of how it grew up in a world where Object Oriented Programming wasn’t the norm¹. I didn’t realize the syntax started out looking so different. I shall count my blessings that we have square brackets.
